DEBUT ALBUMS
THE ANDY CLAUSEN GROUP
Trombonist/Composer Andy Clausen established his sextet in 2007 with fellow members of the Roosevelt High School jazz band to serve as a testing ground for their diverse compositions.  From the beginning, their music has reflected a common desire to explore and experiment. Their debut album, "Follow," represents a snapshot of the band after a two and a half year journey together, during which the band has moved to refine their sound through an intensive process of rehearsals and frequent performances. The compositions range in tone from powerful to lyrical to whimsical, yet each song conveys the commitment of the members of this group of young musicians and friends to a common vision of jazz that is both fresh and sophisticated.
ARIEL POCOCK
This talented young woman from Bellevue Washington is amazing audiences and judges coast to coast with her  pianistic and vocal skill and poise.  She was awarded the prestigious Ella Fitzgerald Oustanding Vocalist award and shared the Outstanding Pianist Award at the 2009 Essentially Ellington competition at Lincoln Center, and has a growing list of festival awards to her credit, including a win in the Downbeat Magazine competition.   Her approach to jazz standards is fresh and innovative, surely one of the jazz's world's up and coming artists!
THE YESBERGER COMBO
Now attending the Berklee College of Music, Devon is a pianist and songwriter showing great potential. For Devon, improvisation is the most attractive element of music, regardless of any specific musical umbrella:  ideally, any sound is acceptable as long as it is that of oneself. Thus, The Yesberger Combo was formed as a diverse band of unique musicians coming together to play and interpret original compositions.  While the featured compositions are by Devon on piano and Spencer Stewart on bass, the resulting sound is only attributable to the group as a whole.  Members range in ages, location, and history, but all share a similar passion for the improvised interpretation of music as a means to create a compelling euphonic expression of self.
HELP COMPUTER
Max Williams, Andrew Morrill, Gus Carns, Nolan Woodle, and Evan Woodle make up the group Help Computer. The quintet grew up in Seattle, Washington, and met each other in the jazz program at Roosevelt High School, playing together many times over their high school careers. Williams put the group together near the end of 2008, and they recorded the music on this debut album, "Canal", in three sessions at The Piano Studio on Seattle's Capitol Hill in August 2009. The eight songs on "Canal", all composed by Williams, represent an attempt to exemplify the challenge in music not being endless runs, perfect technique, or immense knowledge, but rather combining originality and influences, and articulating it in a clear fashion.
